Overview
•
Integrated interface.
•
Wiring the inverter (according to the manufacturer‘s instructions).
•
Inverter addressing via TrueString Gateway (automatic).
•
Connect the TrueString Gateway.
•
Connect the Solar-Log™.
•
Installation steps:
• Switch off the inverters and Solar-Log™.
• Connect the inverters to each other (according to the manufacturer‘s instructions).
• Communication between inverter and TrueString Gateway (according to manufacturer‘s instructions).
• Connect the TrueString Gateway to the router/switch.
• Connect the Solar-Log™ to the router/switch.
Connect the inverters to each other
The inverters are connected together according to the inverter instructions.
Connect the Solar-Log™/ TrueString-Gateway
•
Connect Solar-Log™ to router/switch.
•
Connect TrueString Gateway to router/switch.
•
The TrueString Gateway and the SolarLog™ must be on the same class C subnet.
Example: SolarLog™ has 192.168.178.49
In this case, the TrueString Gateway must have an IP address from the 192.168.178.xxx range (xxx represents
a number between (1 - 254).
Addressing and detection of inverters
•
The inverters are detected and addressed automatically via the TrueString Gateway (according to the manu-
facturer‘s instructions).
