• Connect inverters to the Solar-Log™.
• Connect the inverters to each other.
• Configure the inverter's communication interface.
• Allocate communication address.
Connect inverters to the Solar-Log™
The wiring is done using a
•
self-made, shielded 2 wire data cable and terminal block connector.
Procedure
1. Connect wires as shown in the diagram below:

► 1 ► B (Data+)
► 4 ► A (Data-)
2. If no further inverter is connected, terminate the inverter according to the instructions for the inverter.
3. Close the inverter cover if no other inverters are to be connected.
4. Insert the terminal block connector into the Solar-Log™ RS485 socket.
Connect the inverters to each other
The inverters are connected together using the RS485 interface. Refer to the manufacturer's inverter manual for
the details on how to setup the connection.
Allocate communication address
•
Recommendation: Continuous numbering starting with 1.
•
Setting: Using the inverter operating display.
•
Procedure: Start according to the inverter's instructions.
