Connect using network cable (patch cable) and Ethernet router or switch.

• Turn the Solar-Log™ off.
• Connect the inverters to each other.
• Connect the inverters to the SMA Inverter Manager.
• Connect the SMA Inverter Manager to the router/switch.
• The inverters are assigned IP addresses via the SMA Inverter Manager per DHCP (default setting).
• Connect the Solar-Log™ to the router/switch.
Connect the inverters to each other.
The inverters are connected together according to the inverter instructions.
Connect the inverters to the SMA Inverter Manager.

In order to perform the device detection for the inverters, the inverters first have to be set up accor-
ding to the SMA instructions.
