Connect the inverters to each other
The inverters are connected together using the RS485 interface. Refer to the manufacturer‘s inverter manual for
the details on how to setup the connection.
Assign the communication address
•
Recommendation: Continuous numbering starting with 1 going to 250.
•
Setting: Using the inverter‘s operating display.
•
Procedure:
• Go to the main menu.
• Select the menu Settings > Communication Settings.
• Press „Enter.“
• Set the desired modbus address with the arrow keys.
• Press „Enter“ to apply the setting.
• Press the ESC key to stop the process..
Information on the termination:
If only one inverter is connected, both DIP switches have to be set to OFF. When several inverters are connected,
the both DIP switches for the last inverters have to be set to ON and both DIP switches for the other inverters to
OFF.
