Connect the inverters to each other
•
Connect with a shielded twisted-pair cable.
•
Where to connect: Terminal strip inside the inverter.
Procedure
1. Open the inverter according to the inverter‘s instructions.
2. Connect the data cable to the terminal block in J1 of inverter 1 (according to the inverter‘s instructions),
connect another data cable to the terminal block J2 of inverter 1 (according to the inverter‘s instructions), then
connect it to inverter 2 via J1 (according to the inverter‘s instructions).
3. Connect the other inverters to each other in the same way.
4. Terminate the last inverter:
Set the jumper to „On“ (refer to the inverter‘s instructions).
Note
A maximum of 16 inverters can be connected per RS485 bus.
The maximum cable length is 1000 meters.
