VARTA Battery System

If a Varta consumption meter is connected to the battery system, an additional consumption meter
(bi-direction meter) is detected and recorded by the Solar-Log™ when it is detected. (The consumption
meter is active after the detection.)

Battery charging time shift function:
If the plant is required to implement fixed percentage (x %) reductions (EEG/subsidy), the Solar-Log™ can shift
the charging time for the battery to peak power production periods so that the total production does not have
to be reduced. In addition to weather forecast data, the Solar-Log™ also factors in the plant consumption data
into battery charging management. This means that the Solar-Log™ has saved the typical past consumption data
and checks this data to see if the battery has been charged 100%. The charging times are adjusted accordingly as
needed.
