Deck Roller
Removal and Installation
See Figures 8-13 and 8-14.
1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-5.)
2. Remove mower deck. (See “Rotary Deck” on
page 8-14.)
3. Remove deck yoke. (See “Front Deck Yoke” on
page 8-15.) (See “Rear Deck Yoke” on page 8-16.)

NOTE
Record the location and number of shims (7) prior to
disassembly.
4. Remove four screws (1) and nuts (8), two spacers
(5), and six shims (7) from deck frame weldments (2,
3, and 4) on each side of deck frame (6).
5. Remove deck weldments (2, 3, and 4) from deck
frame (6).

NOTE
Steps 6 through 9 apply to both sides of the roller
assembly.
6. Loosen set screw (16) from collar (9) on roller shaft
(3).
7. Remove pin (12) from roller shaft (11).
