18. Using an engine hoist, support the engine (10) and
remove the four engine mounting bolts (11).
19. Check for any connected wires and components,
carefully remove the engine from the machine.
20. Place the engine on a suitable stand or workbench
that will support the full weight in a safe manner while
preventing damage to the engine.
NOTE
If the engine is being replaced, some components must
be removed and installed on the new engine. See the
Parts & Maintenance manual for additional information
and illustrations.
Installation Notes
• Inspect engine mounts and replace if necessary.
• Install the engine by reversing the order of removal.
• If necessary, remove components from the engine
and install the components on the new engine.
• Use new gaskets when installing the exhaust system.
• Fill the radiator with a 50/50 mixture of ethylene
glycol-base antifreeze and clean fresh water.
• Replace the engine oil filter and fill engine with oil.
• Purge air from the fuel system. See the Engine
Manual for further instructions.
Engine Service
A separate engine manual, prepared by the engine
manufacturer, is supplied with this machine. Refer to the
engine manufacturer’s manual for all engine-related
service.
Proper attention to the engine manufacturer’s directions
will ensure maximum service life of the engine.
