5. Remove the canopy (1).
Installation Notes
• Center the canopy before tightening the mounting
hardware.
• Install the canopy by reversing the order of removal.
OPS
Removal and Installation
See Figures 9-6 and 9-7.
1. Park mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-5.)
2. Remove the canopy (if equipped). (See “Canopy” on
page 9-4.)

3. Fully open hood and remove hydraulic filter bracket
bolts (1) and bracket to frame bolts (2). Remove
bracket (3) from mower.
4. Remove battery and battery tray from mower.

5. Support the OPS (4) using a suitable lifting device.
6. Remove four OPS mounting bolts (6) from left and
right sides of mower frame.
7. Lift OPS (4) and slide toward rear of mower until OPS
clears fuel and hydraulic tanks (5). Lift OPS up and
out of mower.
Installation Notes
• Install OPS by reversing the order of removal.
• Tighten OPS mounting bolts to 80 lb-ft (108 N·m).
Hood
Removal and Installation
See Figure 9-8.
1. Park mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-5.)

2. Open and support hood using a suitable lifting
device.
3. Remove lock nuts (3) from hood support bolts (1).
4. With hood properly supported, remove hood support
bolts (1) and washers (2) from pivot bracket.
5. Slide hood up and rearward out of pivot bracket and
remove hood from mower.
Installation Notes
• Support the hood in a suitable lifting device to aid in
installation.
• Install hood by reversing the order of removal.
