8.8.8 Command: Read buffer (Cont. mode)
NOTE
The command code for fast processing with the loop counter is 0x2011 (hex.) or
8209 (dec.).
The Read buffer (Cont. mode) command can pass on data stored in the interface to the con-
troller. Up to 16 Kbyte of data can be stored in a ring memory. Fetched data is deleted from the
ring memory. The command is required to transfer read data to the controller in Continuous
Mode or in Continuous Presence Sensing Mode. The data is transferred to the controller in frag-
ments of up to 128 bytes. The size of the fragments can be set by the user. A UID or EPC is not
divided by fragment limits. If a UID or EPC does not fit completely in a fragment, it is automatic-
ally moved to the next fragment.
NOTE
The Read buffer (Cont. mode) command does not stop Continuous Mode.
See description of the output data, p. [}105].
