9-8 FI/FD Operation
FI/FD inner source lock assembly:
6. Ensure that the source isolation valve is closed.
When the outer source and the inner source lock assembly has been
fitted you can pump the instrument down.
7. Open the reference reservoir valve.
8. In the MassLynx Tune window, click Vacuum > Pump Source.
When the pneumatic valve opens, you should hear a small hiss.
9. Ensure that the Vacuum LED shows flashing green followed by steady
green.

10. When the Source Turbo value in the Turbo Readbacks frame reaches 80
or more, close the reference reservoir valve.
