1-4 Instrument Description
Inner source assembly
The inner source assembly comprises a handle that is attached to a shaft
supporting the source. Separate inner source assemblies are provided for EI,
CI, DCI, FI, and FD. The source type is identified on the handle.
The inner source assembly is secured to the outer source by means of two
thumbscrews. Two Viton
®
O-rings form a vacuum seal between the inner
source mounting flange and the outer source.
You do not need to vent the analyzer to change the inner source.
