The Tune window File menu
The File menu is used to:
• Create a new instrument parameter file.
• Open an existing instrument parameter file.
• Save an instrument parameter file.
• Print a report of the current Tune window.
To create a new instrument parameter file:
Click File > New.
Result: Creates a new set of default instrument parameters in the Tune
window.
To open an existing instrument parameter file:
1. Click File > Open.
2. In the Open dialog box, select the required instrument parameter file
(.ipr).
3. Click OK.
Settings > Probe
Ramping
Opens the Probe Control dialog box. This
is used to automatically ramp the probe
temperature or current.

Starts an acquisition.
Pauses the current acquisition. Click the
button again to restart the acquisition.
Stops the current acquisition.
Edit > Copy Copies an image of the peak display onto
the clipboard.
