Changing the order of functions in the list
To change the order of functions in the list:
1. Select the required function.
2. Repeatedly click or until the function is in the required
position.
Note: Functions appear in ascending order according to their start and
end time and the order cannot be changed. For functions with identical
start and end times, you can change the order in which MassLynx
performs them.
Saving and restoring a function list
To save a function list to file:
1. In the MS Method Editor, click File > Save As.
2. Type a new file name, or select an existing file from the list.
3. Click Save.
Tip: If the file already exists on disk, the system requests confirmation
to overwrite the existing information.
4. Click Yes to overwrite the file; click No to select a different name.
Result: When the editor closes, a message appears that prompts you to
save any changes made to the function list, if the changes have not been
saved.
To restore a saved function list file:
1. In the MS method editor, click File > Open.
2. In the Open dialog box, select the name of the function list file to open by
specifying its name or selecting it from the list.
3. Click Open.
