3 Tuning the Instrument
This chapter describes how to prepare and tune the instrument (that is,
adjust the instrument’s parameters to achieve maximum performance).
Note:
• Tuning is not the same as instrument calibration, which ensures
that the peaks displayed in a spectrum are in their correct locations.
• The figures in this chapter shows indicative parameter values only.
