Ramping the probe temperature
Click Settings > Probe Ramping to open the Probe Control dialog box, which is
used to ramp the instrument’s probe temperature during tuning or data
acquisition.

Viewing the status of, and rebooting, the instrument’s embedded
PC
To view the current status of the instrument’s embedded PC:
Click Settings > Options > Communications Status. The System Manager
dialog box displays the state of the embedded PC.
To reboot the instrument’s embedded PC:
1. Click Settings > Options > Communications Status.
2. In the System Manager dialog box, click Reboot.
Alternative: Reboot the EPC manually, using the EPC’s power switch.
Doing this is recommended if problems are not cleared by rebooting the
EPC from the System Manager dialog box.
Selecting the instrument name
To select the instrument name:
1. Click Settings > Options > Instrument Name.
2. In the Instrument Name dialog box, type the required name in the ID
text box.
3. Click OK.
Tip: The instrument name can be added to certain printouts, allowing
identification if you are using a communal printer.
