Managing tune parameters
Printing tune information
To print a report of the peak information displayed in the Tune window
(including a record of each parameter setting), click .
Restriction: You cannot configure the report.
Storing tune parameters
MassLynx stores tuning parameters with each data file as part of the
experimental record. You can view or print the tuning parameters for a
particular data file from the MassLynx Data Browser dialog box.
See also: The MassLynx’s online help for more information.
Saving and recalling parameter settings
You can save sets of instrument tuning parameters to disk as a named
instrument tune parameter file (.ipr). Then, you can recall the parameters at a
future date.
The tune parameter files contain the latest source control settings for all
supported ionization modes, not just the currently selected ionization mode.
They also contain settings for the analyzer and inlets.
To save current tune parameters with the existing file names:
Click in the Tune window.
To save the current tune parameters with a new file name:
1. Click File > Save As.
2. In the Save As dialog box, specify a new file name, or select an existing
file from the list.
3. Click Save.
