Probe depth stop:
5. Position the emitter so that it is in line with or fractionally in front of the
end of the GC column.
Note: Use the clear viewing port on the top of the source lid to view
position of the emitter and ensure that the emitter wire does not touch
the extraction rods.
6. Use the micrometer to adjust the side to side position of the inner source
probe.
