TDC Settings dialog box:
2. In the TDC Settings dialog box, set the TDC trigger Threshold
parameter value to 350, or to a previously saved value.
3. Set the TDC Threshold parameter value to 40, or to a previously
specified value.
4. Observe a beam of the reference compound.

5. If you observe peak splitting, change the TDC trigger threshold setting
in the region of 200 to 700 until the peak is no longer split.
6. Set the detector for optimum gain.
