To change the number of displayed traces:
1. In the Customise Plot Appearance dialog box, type the required value in
the Visible traces box, within the range 2 to 20.
Customizing the peak trace line appearance
You can customize the peak trace line appearance using the Trace command
in the Peak Display menu.
See also: Customizing the peak display on page B-45.
Each trace may be displayed as follows:
• Outline only: click Trace > Outline.
• With the area below the line filled: click Trace > Fill.
• Maximum and minimum points only: click Trace > Min/Max.
Tip: The peaks can appear to be very narrow, so you should select the
Min/Max option.
Customizing the peak intensity display
Tip: Check marks are displayed beside the selected options in the Peak
Display menu.
To display the peak intensities as absolute values (counts/second):
In the Peak Display menu, click Intensity > Absolute Intensity.
To display the peak intensities as percentage values relative to the intensity
of the highest peak:
In the Peak Display menu, click Intensity > Relative Intensity.
To control the way in which the peak display is scaled:
The Peak Display menu Intensity > Normalise Data option can be selected in
conjunction with either of the previous options. It controls the way in which
the peak display is scaled. When enabled, the display scales to the value of the
intensity of the highest peak; when disabled, the display scales to the last set
value.
