Tip: If there are insufficient ions detected, you may have to inject more
reference sample. If there is too much sample and the detector becomes
saturated, open the reference reservoir value to release some sample.
Aim to have about 1000 counts per second in continuum.
Note: When the wizard is complete, the infused solution can be used as
the lock mass.
5. Aim for a beam with 1000 counts per second in continuum.
6. Ensure you can see a beam in the peak display.
7. Click Wizards > Instrument Wizard Setup.
