Differential Gear Assembly
1. Remove the differential bearing support (1), noting the number
of shims (2).
2. Remove the differential gear assembly (4) from transmission
case.
(When reassembling)
• Be sure to fix the O-rings (3).
• Align the oil passage "a" as shown photo.
• Be sure to adjust the turning torque of spiral bevel pinion shaft
(see page 2-S62).
• Be sure to adjust the backlash and tooth contact between the
spiral bevel gear and spiral bevel pinion shaft (see page 2-S63
and 2-S65).
