LSD Disk and Steel Plate
1. Draw out the LSD side gear (4), LSD shim (5), steel plates (3),
LSD disks (6) and belleville washers (cupped spring washer)
(2).
(When reassembling)
• Apply transmission fluid to the LSD disks.
• Apply molybdenum disulfide (Three Bond 1901 or equivalent) to
side gear and shim.
• Assemble the belleville washers (cupped spring washer) as
shown in the figure.
• Check the slip torque of LSD after assembling. (See page
5-S18.)
