To override the rejection, check the
Force Shutdown
box and repeat this procedure from Step 2.

CLI
To shut the ISE down from the CLI:
1. Enter shutdown.
2. Enter y or n in response to the confirmation message System shutdown requested. Are you sure?.
Under some conditions, the system rejects the shutdown command and displays an informational message
explaining the rejection. To override the rejection, re-enter the command with the --force option in the
command line (shutdown --force).
