Tests and Adjustments
ZXP3 Preliminary Setup - Printing preferences
Step 1. Ensure that a YMCKO Ribbon is installed in the printer.
Step 2. Go to Start > Devices and Printers. Right click on the Zebra ZXP Card Printer
listing, and select Printing preferences.
Step 3. The Printing Preferences window will open.
Step 4. Select the Card Setup tab.
Step 5. Set Monochrome Conversion to Barcode.
Step 6. Set Ribbon Combination to Front YMCO, Back K.
Step 7. Click the Image Control button.
Step 8. Observe the Image Control window.
Step 9. Set the Black slider to 0.
Step 10. Click the Close button to close the Image Control window.
Step 11. Click on the OK button to save the settings and to close the Printing
Preferences window.
Important • To perform the tests and adjustments in this section, you will need a
YMCKO
Ribbon and have Driver Version 2.02.00.00 or higher and Firmware Version
1.04.00 or higher installed in your printer.
