Released: April 2004 6850 Series Gas Chromatograph Service Procedures 322
The internal clocks for timing and synchroni-
zation of data for memory and I/O are func-
tioning. All of these clock circuits are on the
main board.
There are no shorts on the data or address
busses by which the microprocessor
accesses memory and communicates with I/O
devices connected to the GC main board.
The GC display board must be functional.
NOTE: Be sure to turn off the GC’s power switch
and disconnect the power cord before checking
fuses and removing or re-installing any cable
connectors or printed circuit board assemblies.
Observe electrostatic discharge precautions
while removing or re-installing printed circuit
board assemblies.
