Log in to the System

1 Log in as craft.
NOTE:
If you have a dadmin login and password, you can use them instead of craft and the craft
password. You may have to contact Avaya to get the dadmin password.
2 Verify the screen displays password:
3 Type the default password and press Enter.
For security reasons, the password is not displayed as it is typed. The system verifies a valid login
and password name were entered.
4 If an invalid login or password name was entered, the screen displays login incorrect: In
this case, repeat the procedure using the correct login and matching password.
5 If the system recognizes the login and password name, the screen displays the software version.
Verify the screen display is similar to:
Terminal Type (513, 715, 4410, 4425, VT220): [715]
6 Type the number of the management terminal and press Enter.

CAUTION:
This procedure must be done immediately after you upgrade the software. If the license
file is not installed within 10 days, the switch enters a No-License mode and shuts down
all call processing.
