Verify the upgrade
Return to Task List
1 Type status system 1 and press Return.
The System 1 Status screen appears.
2 Check these fields for the corresponding values:
—In the
SPE ALARMS section, MAJOR and MINOR alarms = 0
— In the four
SERVICE STATE areas, ensure that the active (and standby -- High and
Critical Reliability) side(s) read in (service).
NOTE:
High and Critical Reliability: Following the upgrade, duplicated configurations enter into
a SPE maintenance interval that lasts approximately 50 minutes. When the
Mode fields
indicate that one side is active and the other standby, then the
SERVICE STATE fields
should read in.
You can continue with the upgrade, however some commands will be not be available
until the maintenance interval has completed.
3 If there are alarms, take the necessary corrective actions (display alarms).

1 Type display communication-interface links and press Return.
NOTE:
ISDN-PRI D-channel links no longer appear on this screen. (ISDN-PRI resides on the
network packet circuit pack.) The only way to determine if an ISDN-PRI D-Channel is up
is to use the
status signaling group command.
2 Type status link number and press Return. Repeat this step for each type of administered link.
3 Check that DS1 trunks and BRI phones are functioning normally.
4 Type list signaling-group press Return.
5 For each signaling group, type status signal <number> and press Return.
6 Ensure that the Group State field is in-service.
7 Execute the following commands and verify that the information is correct:
— list station
— list trunk-group
— list hunt-group
— list data-module
— list ars analysis
— For a system with Expert Agent,
list agent
