Preparation
Prior to proceeding with the disassembly procedure,
(1) Unplug
- the AC cord,
- the modular jack of the telephone line,
- the USB cable, if connected,
- the LAN cable, if connected,
- the USB cable for PictBridge, if connected, and
- the modular jack of the external telephone set if connected.
(2) Remove
- the Paper tray,
- the Toner cartridge x 4,
- the Drum unit,
- the Belt unit, and
- the Waste toner box.
