16.1.5 Alert and Danger Alarms - Time Delay
The amount of time the measurement must remain above (or below) the set point before an alarm is
annunciated.
The Default settings are 3 seconds for Alert Time Delay, and 1 second for Danger Time Delay. These
are good default settings for critical machines. For less critical machines you may consider extending
time delays to minimize false alarms.
