23.9 Password Reset
Be aware. This procedure may trip relays. Do not perform this procedure unless all relays are
externally bypassed, or the machine is down.
You should also
Notify Operations that data will be temporarily lost, relays may change state, and
the OK relay may change state.

Install the latest version of VC-8000 MPS
Open VC-8000 Rack Maintenance software
Connect to the rack.
A local (USB) connection does not require a
password to perform a password reset.
Save a Rack Maintenance file.
Email the file to B&K Vibro Technical Support
requesting a password reset.
The support request can take up to a day –
A password reset file will be emailed to you.
The file extension is “.setk”
Select the Firmware Upgrade Tab.
Select Enable Hardware
SSelect the password reset file.
Look for a message in the lower left corner of
the software, indicating that “Hardware support
activation is complete”
