9.4 Buffered Output Connectors
9.4.1 UMM Buffered Output Connector (RJ-45)
Each UMM has an RJ-45 connector that provides access to buffered output signals in the UMM.
These can serve for temporary or permanent connections.
Breakout cable 100431-AA is used to connect the UMM to the back of a patch panel. Users can then
connect multi-meters (or other devices) to the front of the patch panel. Standard CAT5/CAT6 cables
with couplers can be used to extend cable lengths up to 30 ft. (10 m).
