Enters global configuration mode.configure
Example:

Step 1
Enters a name for the explicit path.
explicit-path name name
Example:
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:router(config)# explicit-path
Step 2
name interarea1
Includes an address in an IP explicit path of a tunnel.
index index-id next-address [loose] ipv4 unicast
ip-address
Step 3
Example:
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:router(config-expl-path)#
index 1 next-address loose ipv4 unicast
10.10.10.10
commit—Saves the configuration changes and remains within
the configuration session.
Use the commit or end command.
Step 4
end—Prompts user to take one of these actions:
• Yes— Saves configuration changes and exits the
configuration session.
• No—Exits the configuration session without committing
the configuration changes.
• Cancel—Remains in the configuration session, without
committing the configuration changes.
