PurposeCommand or Action
Enters a name that uniquely identifies an OSPF routing process.
router ospf process-name
Example:
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:router(config)# router ospf

process-name
Any alphanumeric string no longer than 40 characters without
spaces.

Enters the MPLS interface type. For more information, use the
question mark (?) online help function.
mpls traffic-eng router-id ip-address
Example:
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:router(config-ospf)# mpls
Step 3
traffic-eng router-id 192.168.70.1
Enters an OSPF area identifier.
area area-id
Example:
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:router(config-ospf)# area
Step 4
area-id
Either a decimal value or an IP address.

Identifies an interface ID. For more information, use the question
mark (?) online help function.
interface type interface-path-id
Example:
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:router(config-ospf-ar)#

interface POS 0/2/0/0
commit—Saves the configuration changes and remains within the
configuration session.
Use the commit or end command.
Step 6
end—Prompts user to take one of these actions:
• Yes— Saves configuration changes and exits the configuration
session.
• No—Exits the configuration session without committing the
configuration changes.
• Cancel—Remains in the configuration session, without
committing the configuration changes.
