Halogen Headlamps Bulb
Replacement
IMPORTANT: Use only SAE/DOT approved H11
bulbs with a 55 watt rating for the headlamps.
Use only SAE/DOT approved 4157 NAK LL
lamps for turn signal and marker lamps. Install-
ing higher wattage bulbs may damage the head-
lamp housing or the wiring.
There are three bulbs housed in the headlight bucket
assembly. See Fig. 22.5. Each bulb can be replaced
using the same procedure.
1.
Open the hood.
2.
Remove the back cover from the headlamp
housing.
NOTE: Remove the bulb from the headlamp
assembly before disconnecting the electrical
connector.
