ERI Timeout
Specifies the amount of time the External Read Indicator (ERI) signal is held
active for a good read.
Sets the ERI timeout duration using hex values from 000 to 255 in increments of ten milliseconds (10ms or 0.01 sec-
onds). To configure this feature, scan the “Enter/Exit Programming Mode’ ba
r code above to place the unit in Program-
ming Mode, then the “Set ERI Timeout,” followe
d by the two digits (zero padded) from the Alphanumeric table in
Appendix C, Alphanumeric Pad representing the desired time value. Exit programming mode by scanning the
“Enter/Exit Programming Mode’ bar code again.
