4 Operation
The operating sequence consists of several different steps.
Fault-free operation is necessary in order to achieve a good
sewing result.
4.1 Preparing the machine for operation
Complete the following steps in preparation of sewing before
starting to work:
• Inserting/changing the needle ( p. 21)
• Threading the needle thread ( p. 27).
• Inserting and winding on the hook thread ( p. 38)
• Setting the thread tension ( p. 43)
WARNING
Risk of injury from moving, cutting and sharp
parts!
Crushing, cutting and punctures are possible.
If possible, make preparations only when the
machine is switched off.
