4.9 Setting the needle thread regulator
The needle thread regulator determines the tension applied to
guide the needle thread around the hook.
Proper setting
The loop of the needle thread slides at low tension over the thickest
point of the hook.
4.9.1 In 1-needle machines

To set the needle thread regulator in 1-needle machines:
1. Loosen the screw (1).
• To increase the tension:
Slide the needle thread regulator (2) to the right
• To reduce the tension:
Slide the needle thread regulator (2) to the left
2. Tighten the screw (1).
WARNING
Risk of injury from moving, cutting or sharp
parts!
Crushing, cutting and punctures are possible.
Switch off the machine before setting the needle
thread regulator.
