4.9.2 In 2-needle machines

To set the needle thread regulator for the right and the left needle
thread in a 2-needle machine:
1. To set the needle thread regulator for the right needle thread:
Loosen the screw (2).
• To increase the tension:
Slide the needle thread regulator (1) to the right.
• To reduce the tension:
Slide the needle thread regulator (1) to the left.
2. Tighten the screw (2).
3. To set the needle thread regulator for the left needle thread:
Loosen the screw (3).
• To increase the tension:
Slide the needle thread regulator (4) to the right.
• To reduce the tension:
Slide the needle thread regulator (4) to the left.
4. Tighten the screw (3).
