Fig. 46: Cleaning the machine
The following areas are particularly susceptible to soiling:
• Cutter on the winder (4)
• Area under the throat plate (1)
• Hook (3)
• Area around the needle (2)
To clean the machine:
1. Switch off the machine ( p. 20).
2. Remove any lint and thread remnants using a compressed
air gun or a brush.
NOTICE
Property damage from solvent-based cleaners!
Solvent-based cleaners will damage paintwork.
Use only solvent-free substances for cleaning.
