ENCODER
This function confirms the operation of the CR Motor and PF Motor encoders.
To check an encoder, follow the instructions below for the corresponding
encoder.
CR encoder: Move the carriage left and right by hand
PF encoder: Turn the Paper Feed Roller by hand
FAN
This function confirms the operation of the paper vacuum fans. When this item
is selected, the fans turn on. Press the Pause button to turn the fans off and
proceed to the next item.
ELEC. (MAINTENANCE RECORDS)
This function allows you to check the printer’s history of fatal errors and
operating information such as how many times a specific part has been used.
Record: Error menu
The printer lists a maximum of the seven most recent fatal errors (Errors 0-6).
The errors listed do not include CPU errors (service call errors).
