      If your FLIR DVR system isn't powering up, there are a few things to check: * Make sure the cable from the power adapter is securely connected to the back of the unit and plugged into the outlet. * Ensure the power switch is in the ON (I) position, not the OFF (•) position. * If connected to a power bar or surge protector, try plugging directly into the wall. Also, test the outlet with another device to confirm it's working.

      If you're not getting a picture on your monitor or TV after connecting it to the FLIR DVR, try these steps: 1. Power cycle: Turn off both the monitor/TV and the DVR. Turn the monitor/TV back on first, then the DVR. 2. Input channel: Make sure you've selected the correct input channel on your monitor/TV to which the DVR is connected. 3. Cable check: Ensure the video cable is securely connected to both the DVR and the monitor/TV. 4. Resolution reset: If the above steps don't work, press and hold the Stop button on the remote control until the DVR restarts. This will reset the DVR to the default resolution (1024x768).

      If the mouse is not detected by your FLIR DVR system, try the following: * Ensure the mouse cable is firmly connected to one of the USB ports. * Power off the system (disconnect the power cable). Then, firmly connect a USB mouse to one of the USB ports and reconnect the power cable to the DC 12V port on the rear panel.

      If the hard drive isn't being detected by your FLIR DVR system: * First, remove the housing and check that the hard drive cables are firmly connected. * If there is no hard drive installed, open the housing and install a 2.5" or 3.5" SATA hard drive. Remember to format the drive after installation.
