Operation Command Description
Enable the Web server
ip http shutdown
Required
By default, the Web server is enabled.
Disable the Web server
undo ip http shutdown
Required
To improve security and prevent attack to the unused Sockets, TCP 80 port (which is for HTTP service)
is enabled/disabled after the corresponding configuration.
z Enabling the Web server (by using the undo ip http shutdown command) opens TCP 80 port.
z Disabling the Web server (by using the ip http shutdown command) closes TCP 80 port.
