EXTRA VOICE Section

From the previous screen, touch the PAGE RIGHT Touch Button once.
The next screen will show the Extra Voice Category on the upper line and the specific voice selected on the lower
line. The number of sub-categories within each Category will determine whether the top or the bottom line will blink.
If an Extra Voice category has only one sub-category, the lower line will blink, as shown below:
Extra Voice Category - Voice Selection
This Advanced Feature allows you to select the Extra Voices which will play for each Voice Category.
In this mode, touching any of the VOICE SELECT Touch Tabs will show the different Voice selections in each
category in the Information Center Display.
Use the PAGE UP and PAGE DOWN buttons to select EXV1 or EXV2.
Touch the appropriate Touch Tab for each Voice Category.
Turn the VALUE Rotary Control to the right to advance forward through the choices.
Turn the VALUE Rotary Control to the left to advance backward through the choices.
NOTE: If you have loaded additional Extra Voice Libraries, the above also applies. You can use the
VALUE Rotary Knob to select the appropriate Voice Category. However, if you have not loaded any
additional Voice Libraries, the bottom line of the Information Center Display will blink. This is because the
SKX firmware only contains one category for the LIBRARY.
NOTE: More information about Voice Libraries will be found in the USING THE USB PORT section of
this Guide
NOTE: If the top line of the Information Center Display is blinking, touch the PAGE RIGHT Touch Button
once to cause the bottom line to blink. You will then be able to select the Extra Voice for the Category
displayed on the top line.
NOTE: The number of Voices listed will vary from category to category. For a complete listing of built-in
Extra Voices, consult the EXTRA VOICE Instrument List in the APPENDIX.
NOTE: For more information regarding selecting Extra Voices, consult page 10.
