Using Drawbars and Extra Voices Together
You can use the three tone-producing divisions of your SKX in conjunction with each other:
1. Using Drawbars on one manual and Extra Voices on the other, or
2. Using Drawbars and Extra Voices together on one manual and Drawbars on the other.
3. Using both Drawbars and Extra Voices on both manuals
The following examples will show you how to do this.
NOTE: An Extra Voice Group may not be used on both manuals simultaneously. However, one manual can be
registered from one Extra Voice Group, and the other manual from the other Extra Voice Group.
Using Drawbars and Extra Voices together on the same manual
TRY THIS:
1. Make sure the UPPER ON Touch Tab in the ORGAN section is “ON” (red LED lit).
2. Create a Drawbar registration - for example, 88 8800 008. You can confirm the registration by
consulting the Information Center Display.
NOTE: To see the Drawbar registration displayed numerically, touch the PLAY Touch Button
repeatedly until the numbers show on the top line of the display.
3. Play some notes on the Upper Manual. You will hear the notes play with the Drawbar registration you
just set up.
4. Now touch the UPPER Touch Tab in the EXV1 section. The red LED will light.
