Ë DISPLAY LOCK
This Advanced Feature allows you to put the instrument into a special playing mode whereby the Information Center
Display is rendered inoperative. Touching any of the Select Touch Buttons will have no effect. This is useful if you
do not want accidentally to change a parameter in the midst of playing.
TRY THIS:
1. If the instrument is “ON,” turn the power “OFF.”
2. Touch and Hold the RECORD and MANUAL Touch Tabs.
3. While holding these two Touch Buttons, turn the power to the instrument “ON.”
4. Continue to hold the two Touch Buttons until the Information Center Display looks like this:
5. The Information Center Display will show Drawbar settings and Preset information only. None of
the Advanced Features may be accessed using the Touch Buttons. However, you may still record
and save Patches using the RECORD Touch Button.
To restore the instrument to its normal playing mode, simply repeat steps 1 through 4 listed above. After
doing so, you will be able to access the Advanced Features normally.
When the Information Center Display is locked:
1. The MENU/EXIT Touch Button is disabled.
2. The RECORD button is disabled normally, but you can still record Patches.
3. The ”Shortcut” functions are disabled.
4. The TRANSPOSE Touch Buttons are still enabled.
5. The EXTRA VOICE Buttons are still enabled, but the cursor is locked on the Voice Name.
6. The DRAWBAR and CONTROL Touch Buttons are still enabled, but if the Menu has 2 or more
Pages, you cannot move the cursor beyond the opening Page.
