2.18 Outdoor kit for Access or Intrusion terminals.
To be able to use the different terminals mounted outside, an outdoor kit can be used. This outdoor kit can be
used together with the following products:
90T RKP - Intrusion remote keypad
90T RKP ACM - Access magstripe reader (Rain water protection not possible)
90T RKP ACW - Access wiegand reader
90T RKP ERC - Access external head controller
The outdoor kit consists of two parts, a Cold Weather Board (90T CWB) and a Rain Water Protection (90T
CRP).
The Cold Weather Board is used to protect the above mentioned terminals at low temperatures. When using the
90T CWB the terminals are specified down to - 25
0
C.
The backligth in the terminals are switched on at temperatures below 10
0
C (+/- 10
0
C). A heating element is
switched on at the same time, heating up the display.
How to install the 90T CWB board:
1. Remove the back-plate from the
front.
2. Unscrew the 4 screws fixing the
terminal CPU board.
3. Turn the CPU-board around and
disconnect the flat-cable coming
from the keyboard. Please note the
direction of the cable before
removing.
