3.5 Card programming.
As described in the section 1.9 the database is divided into 2 parts, one part which is global and identically for all
readers and another part, which is specific for each reader (local). The global database must only be
programmed on one reader and is automatically distributed to all readers connected to the bus. The local
database must be programmed in each reader or at least copied manually to each reader.
The card database is in the global part , but some of the "connected" functions like the personnel group are in
the local database and can be specific for each reader, if wanted.
To each card must be programmed the following:
- A priority.
- A personnel group.
The priority defines which access menus can be used by this card holder.
3.5.1 Personnel groups.
The figure above shows the parameters to be programmed for each personnel group. Each function is
described in section 1.9.2.
