1.13 Event Logs.
The THOR access control system can log all events, for example: Passage through door, alarms and use of the
system. The log will show event name and type, time of event and card number.
2 types of logs are available:
♦
A local log containing all events including the alarms. Local means that only the events on this reader are
logged.
♦
A global alarm log containing only the events defined as alarms. Global means that the alarm log is
common for all the readers connected to the bus.
1.13.1 Local log (all events).
All events are consecutively numbered. All normal events are stored in a cyclic buffer in the THOR reader (max
2300 events). In case of overflow of these 2300 events, the first events are overwritten. This log is local for each
reader.
Different types of filters for the log
are available in the reader defined by time programs and /or personnel
groups, which together gives the possibility of limiting the number of irrelevant information in the log, thus
reducing the search time and unnecessary handling of old events.
