1.6.4 Normal User cards.
There are no predefined functions or programming rights for the Normal user cards. The user rights are solely
dependent on what is in the database.
A normal card can be individually blocked or completely erased in the system. The card is not accepted if it is
blocked and it will only be accepted if the blocking is canceled. When canceling cards all the data for the specific
cards will disappear, and these cannot be used unless they are reprogrammed.
1.6.5 Guest Cards.
A guest card is a normal card allocated to
personnel group no. 1
, to which special rules apply (automatically
controlled by the reader):
- A guest card is valid for 1 day (The card is automatically blocked the same day at 24:00 hours, if it is not
manually blocked).
- A guest card is always connected to the Personnel group no. 1 with the Time Program valid for this group.
- Normal Hi Sec Cards or a standard Credit card can be programmed as a guest card. Max. 50 credit cards can
be created in a system at the same time. The programmed rights in the
personnel group no. 1
is also valid for
the guest credit cards.
1.6.6 Programming Cards and card priority.
A programming card is either the Master card, a Service card or a normal card with programming priority.
A programming card gives access to system information, possibility of programming new system data, as well
as creation, blocking and cancellation of cards. A programming card is generally given to the responsible person
in charge of security, card administration or the receptionist.
The rights are determined by the priority programmed for the card (Menu 57) or by the card no. (Master cards,
Service cards).
Card priority.
A normal card is always created with the lowest priority (0) and cannot be used for programming, but only for
normal system operation.
A higher priority can be programmed for a card using Menu 57 "Edit programming cards".
A service card has predefined rights and shall not be created. All service cards have the same rights.
The following programming priorities are available:
